Manchester City sign Swansea striker Bony
Manchester City have completed the signing of Swansea City striker Wilfried Bony for an undisclosed fee.
The Ivory Coast striker, who is away representing his country at the Africa Cup of Nations, has agreed terms on a four-and-a-half year deal with the Barclays champions. Bony, whose 20 BPL goals in 2014 was the most last year, has impressed since arriving at Swansea from Dutch Eredivisie side Vitesse in summer 2013, managing 25 goals in 54 league appearances
“It’s a great feeling for me, it’s a big honour to be here and it’s a great challenge,” Bony, who will wear the No 14 shirt, told “As a player it’s always good to be part of one of the biggest clubs in the world and it’s a good opportunity for me to be in that situation now – I’m really proud.
