Lahm Fractures Ankle In Tranning

Munich – FC Bayern München skipper Philipp Lahm has been ruled out for three months after the 31-year-old suffered a fractured ankle in training on Tuesday afternoon.

Germany’s 2014 FIFA World Cup-winning captain had to be withdrawn from the session at Bayern’s Säbener Straße complex on a golf cart after collapsing to the ground in apparent agony.

He was taken immediately to the offices of club doctor Hans-Wilhelm Müller-Wohlfahrt, with a definitive diagnosis set to be given by Tuesday evening.
